Telephone conference

Conferences with up to 3 participants can be realized via the normal telephone. Since there are different telephones, you can find out about the three-party conference directly in the instructions for the individual telephone

Videoconference (solution for everyone)

For a simple conference in your own office you can use the DFN video conferencing system. It is available to everyone at the university and requires prior registration (https://webconf.vc.dfn.de). The VC system can be started by any participant in the web browser without having to install additional software.

If you are interested in this system, please contact the helpdesk and we will help you with the setup. For a good video and audio quality you can also borrow a better camera from us.

Video conference (professionel)

Video conferences with a group of 4-5 people can be carried out in the DKRZ in room 23. Please reserve the room at the DKRZ office and additionally send us this information by e-Mail.

• Scheduled time when the conference should take place and the time zone of the participant
• Technical contact (telephone, e-mail) on the other end of the line
• IP address or E.164 address of the remote conference system
• Telephone number in the room of the other participant

It is advisable to set a date for a test conference in advance.
