CEN is part of a number of networks:
German Climate Consortium
The German Climate Consortium (DKK) represents the major players in German climate research and climate impact research. It brings together prominent research institutions whose work contributes to recognizing climatic change and identifying viable responses. Through CliSAP, the CEN has been a founding member since 2008.
German Marine Research Consortium
The German Marine Research Consortium (KDM) brings together institutes and institutions from the fields of marine, polar and coastal research and represents their interests in decision-making processes at the national and European Union level. It promotes cooperation and joint research programs, as well as collaboration in the planning and operation of large infrastructures. The CEN has been a member since 2004.
KlimaCampus Hamburg
The KlimaCampus Hamburg brings together universities, research facilities and authorities from across Hamburg in the context of climate research. The network was initiated by the Cluster of Excellence CliSAP.
Members are: Bundesanstalt für Wasserbau, Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency, German Weather Service, German Climate Computing Centre, HafenCity University, Hamburg Institute of International Economics, Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht (Institute of Coastal Research and Climate Service Center), Max Planck Institute for Meteorology, Hamburg University of Technology, Universität Hamburg, Department of Urban Planning and the Environment, Department for Science and Research
