Windows computers or laptop which were configured and installed by CEN-IT get a standard software package, which includes typical and necessary programs for the normal working enviroment. We also give you the option to choose between an english or a german system language.

  • FileZilla (FTP-Client)
  • Notepad++ (Editor)
  • PDF24 Creator (create/manage/collate PDFs)
  • Putty (SSH-Client)
  • Sophos antivirus
  • VLC-Player (Videoplayer)
  • WinSCP (SFTP/SCP-Client)
  • Laptops only: Cisco Anyconnect (VPN)

Automatic Updates:

Windows 11 and Office 2021 will download available updates autmatically via Windows-Update. Sophos antivirus updates itself regularly in the background.
