Extension of HadISST, CRUTEM and HadCRUT data sets

We extended the monthly CRUTEM surface (air) temperature anomalies data set, the monthly HadCRUT combined land and sea surface temperature anomalies data set, and the HadISST1 sea surface temperature (SST) data set. All datasets are now available from January 1850 (CRUTEM/HadCRUT) or January 1870 (HadISST1) until including December 2021:

Extension of MODIS Land Surface Temperature (LST)

We extended the Terra and Aqua MODIS land surface temperature (LST) data sets. These global data sets come at monthly and daily temporal and with 0.05 degree grid resolution and cover years 2000 (2002 for Aqua) through February 2025. For more information see:

Extension of MODIS atmospheric properties

We extended the MODIS TERRA and AQUA atmospheric property data sets: temperature profiles, water vapor, precipitable water, various cloud properties such as cloud fraction, cloud top pressure, etc. These global level-3 data sets are extracted from MOD08_D3 and MYD08_D3 data sets and come with 1...
