New product: PERSIANN precipitation amount

We include a new product in our data holding: the PERSIANN (Precipitation Estimation from Remotely Sensed Information using Artificial Neural Networks) precipitation amount data set. This product is mainly based on infrared sensor observations by geostationary satellites. It comes at 0.25 degrees grid resolution for the latitude band 60°S to 60°N with daily temporal resolution for the period 1983-01-01 to 2019-12-31. For more information see:
