Extension of MODIS chlorophyll-a concentration

EOS-Aqua MODIS chlorophyll-a concentration March 2022

We extended the MODIS-based data sets of version v2022.0 of the ocean near-surface chlrorophyll-a concentration and related parameters, e.g. particulate organic carbon content. Data sets are available for both, AQUA and TERRA, until including September 2023 for both daily and monthly temporal resolution. This global data set comes with approximately 0.05 degree grid resolution. For more information see:

Note that further extension of this data set is on hold because of calibration issues with the relevant MODIS channels (see the "Data quality" section of our data set web page)
