Extension of MODIS atmospheric properties

We extended the MODIS TERRA and AQUA atmospheric property data sets: temperature profiles, water vapor, precipitable water, various cloud properties such as cloud fraction, cloud top pressure, etc. These global level-3 data sets are extracted from MOD08_D3 and MYD08_D3 data sets and come with 1 degree x 1 degree grid resolution and daily temporal resolution. All these data sets cover the period March 2000 through June 15 2022 (TERRA) and July 2002 through June 15 2022 (AQUA). For further information we refer to the respective web pages

Extension of MODIS Land Surface Temperature (LST)

We extended the Terra and Aqua MODIS land surface temperature (LST) data sets. These global data sets come at monthly and daily temporal and with 0.05 degree grid resolution and cover years 2000 (2002 for Aqua) through February 2025. For more information see:
