Upgrade of MODIS snow cover

We upgraded the entire Terra MODIS snow cover data set from version 6.0 to version 6.1. The main reason for this upgrade is a completely re-processed level-1 MODIS input data set. This global data set comes at 0.05 degree grid resolution and daily as well as monthly temporal resolution for the period March 2000 through now December 2021. For more information visit:

Extension of MODIS Land Surface Temperature (LST)

We extended the Terra and Aqua MODIS land surface temperature (LST) data sets. These global data sets come at monthly and daily temporal and with 0.05 degree grid resolution and cover years 2000 (2002 for Aqua) through February 2025. For more information see:

Extension of MODIS atmospheric properties
