Extension of MODIS sea surface temperature

Aqua MODIS sea surface temperature (SST) for October 2021

We extended the MODIS sea surface temperature (SST) data sets for both, Terra and Aqua based on thermal infrared imaging until including October 2021 (monthly data) / November 2021 (daily data). These global data sets come with approximately 0.05 degree grid resolution. For more information see:

Extension of MODIS Land Surface Temperature (LST)

We extended the Terra and Aqua MODIS land surface temperature (LST) data sets. These global data sets come at monthly and daily temporal and with 0.05 degree grid resolution and cover years 2000 (2002 for Aqua) through February 2025. For more information see:
