Upgrade of ESA-CCI Soil Moisture data set to v6.1

The ESA-CCI Soil Moisture Projekt team has reprocessed the entire soil moisture data set using improved methodologies and added more data. It comes at 0.25 degree grid resolution and daily temporal resolution. The updated version v6.1 is now also available at ICDC for the period November 1978 until including December 2020:
