Returning to Climate Science: CliSAP now awarding scholarships

If you had to interrupt your research for a longer period—perhaps to take care of children or relatives—you may find it difficult to regain a foothold in academia. To improve your chances, the CliSAP cluster of excellence is financing up to two scholarships. The application deadline is 15 October 2015.

The Return-to-research-fellowship, worth €1,750 per month (plus supplementary child allowance), is awarded for one year. Fellowship holders should use this year to apply for funding for a longer-term research post. You are only eligible to apply if a professor or group leader from a CliSAP institution consents to supervise you throughout your scholarship year.

The scholarship has its origins in the Gender Action Plan developed by the cluster of excellence to improve equal opportunity.
