This file includes the following cloudnet-derived parameters: quality_bits, category_bits, target_classification_bits and corresponding model data: wind speed, wind direction, air pressure, air temperature, and specific humidity. For more information and quicklooks visit http://www.cloud-net.org/.
Limitations: No rain rate observations are available from JOYCE, and thus, rain rate equals to 0 m s-1. If fill value is used for rain rate, then rain flag is set based on radar observations. If full hour of model data only (e.g. temperature and pressure) are filled with fill values, then temperature flag for categorization indicated below zero temperatures. In practice, such missing model data could be observed during the last hour of the day. This could have let wrong categorization of hydrometeors in the lowest 2-3 k
Provenance: Cloudnet-processed remote-sensing data. See the global argument *cloudnet_source* for more details.
